day's scene.

Every day, everyone on Act It Up is given the same short scene to perform. Sponsor one, and that day's scene is presented by you.

Founding sponsors

Your name goes here. An example sponsored day; the scene and brand are made up.

How a sponsored day works.

At least two weeks from booking to curtain. You bring the theme; we bring the scene.

01

Pick a date

Book at least two weeks ahead. Dates go first come, first served, and only four days in any thirty can be sponsored.

02

Tell us the theme

What the scene should be about: your film’s premise, your show’s world, the feeling you want people to leave with.

03

Choose from three scenes

We write three and you pick the one your name goes on. Choose within three working days, or we’ll pick for you.

04

The day runs

Your scene is everyone’s scene for the day, presented by you. Within 48 hours you get a summary of how it went.

The rules are the point.

They protect the people performing your scene, and that is what makes it worth sponsoring.

We write every scene

You choose from ours; you don’t write or edit the lines. We’ll correct any facts about your title. It plays as a scene, which is why people perform it.

Labelled before anyone performs

“Presented by” sits on the scene in the Scene Hub and on the scene itself, before anyone presses record. Nobody is surprised by it.

Four days in thirty, at most

Sponsored days stay rare, so they never feel bought — and yours stands out rather than blending into a run of them.

It buys the day, nothing else

No effect on which takes get seen, on moderation, or on what performers are paid. The day is yours; the feed stays fair.

Who's performing

Actors, and people who want to be.

Working actors keeping sharp, drama students, creators, and people trying it for the first time. They come for the scene, which is exactly where your name will be.

Members are 13 and up, so sponsors must suit a teenage audience: no alcohol, vaping or tobacco, gambling, or dating apps.

A good fit for

  • Film and TV releases
  • Streaming shows
  • Theatre productions
  • Acting schools and classes
  • Novels, audiobooks and fiction podcasts
  • Comics and manga releases
  • Cameras, mics and lighting

Questions.

How much does a day cost?
Every day is quoted rather than listed, because what a day is worth depends on when it falls and who is performing that week. Email us the date you have in mind and we’ll come back within one business day, founding rate included.
Can we choose the date?
Yes, if it’s free. Dates go first come, first served, at least two weeks ahead, and no more than four days in any thirty can be sponsored.
Can we write the scene?
No. We write three and you pick one. We’ll fix anything factual about your title, but the lines stay ours.
What’s in the summary?
How many people performed your scene, how many watched, and the reactions it drew. It arrives within 48 hours of the day.
Can performers win a prize?
Not a formal one yet. But you’re welcome to join Act It Up like anyone else and send gifts to the takes you love on your day. Gifts count toward the performer’s earnings, and your account shows among each take’s top supporters.

The stage is yours for a day.

Tell us the date you have in mind and what you'd like the scene to be about.
